When's she going to write again?!?

Yes, I totally realize that these little posts with all the fun pictures are not really writing. I have been writing, just not so much here in blogland. I have finished seven chapters of my little attempt at fiction that I've been working on. The few folks who are guiding me through the process really love it and keep begging me for more. I am also finishing up the Kappa Phi newsletter. Both of those products have been requiring my writing attention, so my blog readers get things like the "what kind of beer?" quiz. Tomorrow I am off to Detroit (I've been avoiding the Super Bowl craziness.) to finish packing up the apartment up there. Then I'll be here for a few weeks before I move again. I am pretty excited. I'm all about new beginnings, and it's so nice to have that opportunity right now. I am ready to start the next chapter of my life and see what it holds. Whatever it is will be absolutely great.

Just snooping around my blog as I type this. (I guess the lurkers shouldn't have ALL the fun.) I just realized that Kenny is one hot little man. It'll be nice to see him again. A while ago, I said it was going to be ALL about the music this year. I lied. As much as I love the new CD and I can't think of any better way to spend two hours (OK, lied again, there are a few other things that would be better, but I have to go to the shows, too), the big fun that will be had will be the fun that I have with my friends. How fun will it be for all of us to get together and just have a blast and maybe raise a little Cain? What a great weekend you can have with your friends, cute boys, great music, and lots of rum!!!!!
