New church craft for tomorrow...
I've been spending the whole morning working on a project for Sunday School tomorrow. The kids are getting really good at their prayers. They have aced the sign of the cross. I am proud of them.
The Our Father is going very well. I think this week we'll be able to say it together without repeating.
The Hail Mary is a new addition, but we have plenty of time to learn it before they will help with the all-Parish Rosary in May. I think that is usually the last Sunday of classes for the year. This year it's my birthday, so I may have to come back for it, since I'll be gone. I am trying to find glow-in-the-dark Rosary beads for them just like I had when I was their age.
This week we are going to take a stab at grace. I am going to make treats for them tonight and they will have to practice grace before they can have a treat. I also have a craft project which is to make placemats that they will each get to take home with them. This week they will color them, and I'll take them over to the College of Education at the old alma mater and have them laminated.
They are quite large so if you want to see them in my photobucket, click here.
I have my bursts of creativity, but thank goodness I don't have to do this everyday. And if I move to a big city, I won't have to homeschool my kids because I'll have a parish school to support. Yay!!!!
