Oh, oh, oh!!!! (*Fidgets in seat and raises hand*)
Remember in grade school when the teacher asked a question and you knew they answer and you really wanted her to call on you? Or you had a question you really needed her to answer? (Usually that question involved really needing to go pee.) If you were like me, you sat in your seat and bounced up and down, waved your hand frantically and made a little "Oh, oh, oh" wimper, like that would make them more likely to call on you. Usually it just made them less apt to call on you and more likely to think that you were a know-it-all (or that you just went pee).Well, that's how I am right now. Sitting here frantically waving my arm in the air. (Just figuratively people. Even I'm not that big of a freak.) Partly because I've got some answers. Call on me, please?!? Another part of me is confused as hell and is really hoping that someone will see me waving frantically and let me ask my questions. I know that I don't have to go pee, so it must be something else.
And then there's this third part of me. The one that read her horoscope today and knows that I need to just take a break today.
You may try to be the detective today as you ask questions to dig up the missing information, but you run into problems as the new facts just don't jive with what you already know. Don't fall into the trap of trying to make everything fit nicely into place. Be content with an unsolved mystery for a while longer.
It must just be one of life's mysteries, but it's definitely one of those things that makes you say -- for lack of a better phrase -- what the fuck? I rarely use the f-word on here, but let me tell you, this is just one of those special occasions.
Will I ever know the answers? Well, I'm pretty sure I do. There's just more to the story. And honestly, if I'm wrong I'd love nothing more than for someone to show me that I'm wrong. In the meantime, I won't hold my breath. (Everyone knows that was for when Mom turned the TV off during your favorite show or didn't let you have dessert, anyhow.)
