Favorite Christmas Song...
OK, now that I think about it, this might not be my all-time favorite. In fact, I know it's not. But I have loved this song ever since I saw that little girl sing it in Love Actually a few years ago. I was shocked when I went to get the lyrics for here that Mariah Carey actually wrote this song. Who knew?Anyhow, this is my favorite -- as my mom would call them -- "made-up" Christmas song. My friend Helen would say in the 1800s "Silent Night" was made-up too. We'll call those songs like "Silent Night" traditional and we'll blog about them tomorrow. Hi Laura,
I probably have heard this song ("All I Want for Christmas Is You"), but can't think of how the melody goes - but I love the words and am going to figure out a way to send them to my favorite guy (presently it is one in Arizona - who could be the love of my life if he can ever let himself love again - and has told me so). This is perfect, cause he is all I really want for Christmas..lol

I already got my Blue County CD (Thanks, Rosalie!) so all I need is a yellow-haired boy to arrive on my porch. He doesn't even need the bow or the booze, because he's all I want for Christmas this year!
